AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, in a message appreciating the esteemed scholars of the Indonesian Ulema Council, said, "Your positions are a manifestation of the awakening of conscious consciences and the elites of the Islamic world."
This message, addressed to the "esteemed scholars of the Indonesian Ulema Council," reads: "On behalf of the resistant nation of Iran and as the head of the cultural diplomacy apparatus of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the head of the Interreligious Dialogue Policy Council, I express my sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of my colleagues, for the courageous positions declared by the Ulema Council and the supporters of its statement in support of the Iranian nation's steadfastness against arrogance and the Zionist regime. Undoubtedly, these responsible and humane positions are a manifestation of the awakening of conscious consciences and the commitment of the elites of the Islamic world, especially in the friendly and brotherly country of Indonesia."
Imanipour added, "The esteemed scholars and intellectuals of the nation and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not forget your sincere and courageous support in defense of Islamic identity, and they consider it a valuable asset in strengthening the solidarity of the Islamic Ummah. The imposition of war on a Muslim country that stands at the forefront of defending the cause of Palestine has made the need for unity of the Islamic Ummah more evident than ever."
He emphasized, "Undoubtedly, the imposed war on Islamic Iran has revealed new horizons of global challenges to the world. Today, fundamental questions have arisen regarding the global ruling system, the laws and institutions claiming human rights, and ineffective international bodies. The world is now in search of more just systems and a more efficient civilization based on justice, spirituality, and rationality."
Imanipour continued, "These circumstances require that scientific and religious elites, with a forward-looking perspective, review, reproduce, and deepen religious and scientific concepts from various viewpoints, and provide robust and up-to-date responses to global developments and international demands. The production of scientific and civilizational theories based on the revealed source of the Noble Qur'an is an unavoidable necessity. Undoubtedly, strengthening this path can pave the way for the formation of a more humane order based on authentic Islamic values for all humanity at the global level."
He concluded, "The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization declares its full readiness to provide platforms for scientific, intellectual, and cultural dialogue in the field of these developments among the scholars of Iran, Indonesia, and other countries of the world."
